DJ Kimberly S

Sssssss – The ‘S’ word – Kimberly S in Denver

She’s sizzling hot, she’s one of the most popular DJs spinning today, and she’s definitelya Denver favorite, so Kimberly S fans will be glad to know that she’s making tracks for Tracks Nightclub on Saturday, November 29 for the Inlaw Underwear Party. I caught up with her before her arrival to seek out the scoop on the sensational Ms. S.

Matt Kailey: How did you first get interested in music?

Kimberly S: I fell in love with music at a very young age. At five years old, I would sit in my brother’s room and listen to all of his 8-tracks and my parents’ albums. He was really into the Beach Boys, so, of course, I was crazy about them and listened to them constantly. I remember my very first record was “Love Will Keep Us Together” by Captain and Tennille. I was devastated when my brother accidentally stepped on it and broke it.

True T-dance lovers worship Kimberly S, who specializes in soulful house, pulsing tribal beats, trance, and vocal club anthems. She readily admits her love of disco and won't even pretend to play dark. She gives it up to the gay boys for giving her the most room to be creative in her sets, and in return she promises to keep the baseline bouncy while consistently delivering love on the dance floor.
